Can we bend time with AI?
The concept of bending time seems straight out of science fiction. Is it even feasible to manipulate time, and should we concern ourselves with such an idea? What does it even mean to bend time? Is it even possible? Do we even have the power?
There are so many variables that we can’t even think about all the time. We are designed to pay more attention to things we understand and less to things we don’t. We see the world through a lens of continuity bias, among several other tactics and strategies we use to think objectively. We are still limited by our own conditioned reflexes, even though we are capable of great things. However, the past and present have shown us that we can bend time. We can hack the very nature of our existence, although within certain limitations.
So, what does it mean for AI-powered scheduling software that “bends” time? Should you and I care about it? Absolutely, why not? Think about it: many things around us have changed significantly. While most of these changes have been digital, we are also starting to see innovation in the physical world. However, even today, we still have to manually look at our calendars and send emails with multiple time options in order to find a time that works for everyone. Imagine if the back-and-forth of trying to find a good time for both parties disappeared. That would be magic. That would be bending time in our favor.
Imagine the ripple effect on team dynamics, the flow of ideas, problem-solving, and the delivery of products and services. Could such a tool empower us to amplify our speed in general? Could it accelerate the way we live our lives? I think so. It will. What if tasks that could be pushed to tomorrow or even later in the week could be accomplished today? How would the world look like for us then?
Call me a dreamer or an abstract thinker, but I see it happening all around us. Numerous technological innovations have already bent time for us, optimizing and maximizing our lives in unimaginable ways. AI-powered scheduling software for teams is just another building block in the need for speed in our current self-driving economy.
