Front end

In every application and product, there are many aspects that go into creating it. One is the backend integration which handles the functionality of an application, but there is something just as important which is the front end. Sometimes the front-end portion of an application can make or break the success of an application. This is due to the idea of the user interface being fundamental for the user to experience.

If a user interface is easy to interact with and navigate the application will be much more enjoyable. However, the front-end isn’t as easy as it seems, there are many aspects of the front-end that contribute to the production of an easy interactable front-end application, and it will be explored throughout this article.

  1. Crafting an Engaging User Experience

To create a great user experience, the front-end designer must put themselves into the shoes of the customer, and think about what they would want to see and interact with when they use an application. Sometimes, the front-end designer must research what the user would desire on their interface whether it would be micro-interactions or features that might speed up the process. Another aspect of an engaging user experience would be the structure of the application layout. What should be prioritized when entering this interface, and how to easily access other parts of the application without creating an overcomplicated interface? These are the questions a front-end designer should be thinking about when approaching an engaging user experience. Even though the user experience can be engaging, another important aspect of the front-end application is the visual branding of the application.

2. Visual Design and Branding

The visual design and branding is very important for the application as it represents the application as a whole, and shows to be presentable as well. This is done by exploring the use of typography and establishing color schemes and a layout to the application. Once the designer understands what color schemes to use, then it can be implemented through out the whole application. This would be the same process for the layout, whether the designer wants to create a specific layout for each part of the application, it can be applied to the rest of the application as well. Companies like Apple and Google are known to have a simple but appealing design and it works.

3. User Feedback

Lastly, testing out the application is a must when creating a front-end project as it can directly tell you what is missing. When someone uses the interface, they can tell you what features to add and how the layout could be better. This feedback can be used as a pathway to creating an outstanding user interface as you can tailor the application to the user’s needs.

Conclusion:

Overall, a working application has many aspects that make the application function as a whole. Front-end design is a very important aspect, as it allows the user to communicate with the application and experience it overall. Knowing the details of creating a design by combining aesthetic appeal and usability; can go a long way to the contribution of an application, and allow the application to captivate users in a whole different way.
